The X-400 features a 1-Wire Bus for connecting up to 16 temperature/humidity sensors.

Expansion Bus

Add I/O expansion modules to the X-400 to create an I/O solution tailored to your specific application.

The flexible expansion system allows the controller to be configured to suit a wide range of monitoring and control requirements.

Peer-to-Peer Communication (P2P)

The X-400 supports peer-to-peer communication between ControlByWeb devices. It can communicate with all expansion modules and other ControlByWeb devices, while providing instantaneous messaging between X-400 Series products.

This allows an X-400 controller to monitor and control I/O on other X-400 Series products as though the I/O were directly connected to the controller.

Task Builder

The X-400's built-in interface allows you to create custom "Tasks" for both simple and advanced control logic.

Tasks can be created based on the status of inputs or outputs, with up to three actions available for each task. This provides flexible control and monitoring for your application.

Create up to 50 Scheduled Tasks, 50 Conditional Tasks, 20 Automatic Reboot Tasks and 20 Override Schedules.

The X-400 also includes a built-in BASIC interpreter for more advanced or customised applications.

Logging

The X-400 can log a variety of data points, including local and remote I/O, registers and voltage. Log entries can be recorded at preset intervals, scheduled times, or when triggered by I/O changes or logic events.

Daily log files can be scheduled to be sent via email or uploaded to an FTP server.

Graphing

Graph the current log file and monitor I/O status over time for a clear view of recorded data and system activity.

Security

The X-400 supports HTTPS connections, encrypted email transmission and communication with remote devices using TLS.

Other Advanced Features

The X-400 includes a range of advanced features, including the ability to initiate connections to remote servers, BASIC programming, and admin, manager and user permissions.
