Structure

Zinc-plated steel construction provides durability. MINI models feature an internal chamber made from white-painted zinc-plated steel, while BBR models use AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners for easier cleaning. MINI models are fitted with adjustable feet for proper positioning, while BBR models feature castors for easy movement along with adjustable feet for positioning.

Door

Triple vacuum-sealed glass with special anodised aluminium profiles and anti-moisture electrical resistors helps provide reliable performance and reduce frost formation. A key lock helps prevent access by unauthorised personnel.

Port Hole

A 23 mm diameter port hole with a rubber cap allows additional probes to be inserted when required.

Internal Lamp

A courtesy light illuminates the interior when the door is opened.

Insulation

Injected CFC-free foamed polyurethane insulation. Thickness: MINI – 50 mm; BBR – 75 mm.

Drawers

Stainless steel drawers slide on plastic wheels. Transparent PVC front screens provide an immediate view of the contents while helping to minimise warm air entering when the door is opened. Each drawer can also be fitted with an optional transparent PVC partition screen to simplify bag positioning and make labels easier to read during release.

Temperature Chart Recorder

The battery-operated temperature chart recorder provides weekly diagrams and features a key lock and adjustable pen. Temperature range: +30°C to -30°C.

Adjustment and Control System

The E2003 microprocessor controller features two independent sections. The first is used to set and control the temperature, while the second manages the alarm system and temperature display.

A rechargeable 12 V, 2 Ah buffer battery maintains the alarm system for up to 48 hours in the event of a power outage. The system is also configured to allow remote replication of alarms.
