The proven Free Piston Stirling Cooling System developed by Twinbird is at the heart of the SC-DF25. Two freely moving, linear motor-driven pistons deliver quiet, efficient cooling with highly precise temperature control. The solid, oil-free construction provides excellent durability and allows the unit to cool to temperatures as low as -40°C.

The system uses helium as the refrigerant and offers an environmentally friendly solution with a low carbon footprint and zero ozone depletion potential, helping support the environmental management requirements of your organisation.

2. Thermo Siphon Energy Transfer Technology

The Thermo Siphon Evaporator transfers energy from the cooling system to the container and is based on technology proven in aerospace, energy and military applications. Unlike conventional refrigeration methods, which can experience significant temperature fluctuations, the Thermo Siphon Evaporator provides rapid, continuous and uniform cooling.

Its simple construction contains no moving parts, helping deliver a rugged and robust container while maintaining consistent temperature distribution throughout.

3. High Performance Vacuum Insulation Panels

Vacuum insulation panels, traditionally associated with high-cost freezers, are installed on all four sides of the container. This advanced insulation helps enhance cooling performance while allowing the SC-DF25 to maintain a compact and portable design.
